How to assemble the BI-Vital
This guide explains the step-by-step assembly of the BI-Vital device, including housing, PCB, battery, and electrodes.
Before starting, make sure you have all required parts and tools ready.
Required Components
🧩 Housing Elements
- 3D-printed BI-Vital housing
- BI-Vital PCB
- LiPo battery
- Mounting tape
- Snap electrodes (2 pairs)
- Silver wire
🔧 Mounting Equipment
- Soldering iron + solder
- Hammer
- Mounting tool
Please follow carefully to ensure reliable mechanical stability and electrical contact.
Step 1 – Prepare housing and electrodes
Ensure that the housing and the two pairs of electrodes are ready for installation.

Step 2 – Position electrodes
Place the two snap electrodes into the circular recesses of the housing.

Step 3 – Place the assembly tool
Insert the second part of the electrodes into the mounting tool.

Step 4 – Fix electrodes
Use a hammer and the mounting tool to press the electrodes firmly and precisely into the housing until they are fully seated. After this step, the electrode pairs should not be able to twist toward each other.

Step 5 – PCB preparation
Take the main board and stick a piece of mounting tape onto the PCB as shown in the photo.

Step 6 – Attach the battery
Solder the LiPo battery (red to positive and black to negative) and attach it to the back of the PCB using the adhesive mounting tape.

Step 7 – Insert PCB into housing
Carefully slide the PCB with battery into the prepared lower housing part.

Step 8 – PCB correctly aligned
Ensure that the USB-C port and button openings align with the housing cut-outs.

Step 9 – Prepare solder connection
Insert silver wire into the openings of the electrodes and pour a little solder into them. Also wet the two solder pads with a little solder.

Step 10 – Final soldering
Solder the electrode wires to the designated circuit board pads to ensure a stable electrical connection.
